My passion for hair styling began at the age of 14 when I started experimenting with mannequin heads. I’d chop and shape their hair, just like my mother had taught me. As a hairstylist and salon owner in Point Loma, San Diego, my mom was my biggest inspiration. From a young age, I was drawn to the artistry of hair and knew I wanted to pursue it as a career. I couldn’t wait to graduate high school and enroll in beauty school to start honing my craft.

As soon as I graduated, I dove straight into my education at Paul Mitchell The School in San Diego. During my time there, I immersed myself in the industry—attending top-tier hair shows and participating in runway events. Every moment was an opportunity to learn and grow, and it fueled my passion even more.

After beauty school, I was fortunate to land a position at one of San Diego’s premier salons, where I trained under some of the best educators in the field. I traveled for shows and runway events, gaining invaluable experience. One of the highlights of my career was presenting our collection at Aveda Congress in front of 5,000 people—an unforgettable experience that solidified my love for this craft.

In 2019, I took the next step in my career and opened Salon VIP 2.0 with my mother in Mission Valley. After five successful years, we moved the salon to the vibrant and trendy neighborhood of University Heights in December 2024.
Today, I specialize in precision haircuts, rich dark hair colors, and Great Lengths hair extensions. I’m endlessly passionate about what I do—it’s in my blood, and I can’t imagine ever stopping. Hair styling is not just my career; it’s my true addiction.
